Trek Mountain Bikes Raffle at Biking Event

The UK's mountain bike enthusiasts are always keen to get together and chat about the latest bikes, try them out and of course have some good food and drink whilst doing it. This is why it is especially lucky that England's first ever cycling city will soon be hosting a superb biking event at which the attendees could win one of Trek mountain bikes' latest models.

Mudstock, as it has been dubbed, is a festival which will last two days and which forms a part of a series of events spread over two weeks to promote cycling and to celebrate the sport and bikes in general in Bristol. Bristol has gone made for bikes, since being given Cycling City status. The cycling city award has given the city generous grants to promote and improve facilities for cycling in the city, particularly in respect to its environmental and health benefits.

At Mudstock, attendees will be able to enjoy demonstrations of the latest Trek mountain bikes, amongst others. There will also be group rides for varying ability levels. Another part of the event will be talks by respected mountain biking figures which are likely to prove popular.

The event is free to get in to and everybody is welcome, regardless of whether they are great riders or not. Whether you're a beginner or you've got years of experience under your belt you are welcome. For beginners, the event is the perfect chance to learn a bit more about their hobby. Because many big biking brands will be selling their wares at discounted rates, this is a great time to stock up on the essentials. There is even a raffle with a top prize of a £500 bike donated by Trek mountain bikes.

Because the talks, exhibitions and sales on offer are too good to miss, the event is likely to be well attended. The opportunity to win one of the best Trek mountain bikes is in itself a great reason to get down to the event. A variety of food and drink will be available. Locally produced cider is sure to be a hit. And throughout the fortnight the wider city will be enjoying biking themed events including a bike themed art exhibition.
